List of Record Store Day Exclusive Releases and Bands Playing at Willimantic Records on Record Store Day

Record Store Day is tomorrow, Saturday, April 21. Willimantic Records will be open from 9am until 8pm. Kacee O'Brien, from the Signal Mural Project, will be here for free spray paint stenciling. Bring shirts, hats, boards or anything else you would like painted. We will have live music for much of the day. Headlining is Night of the Rabbit. The band tell me this may be the last chance to see them for quite a long time, maybe even ever. Catch them while you can.

Here is the complete schedule of performers:
10am: Eric Shevchenko
2pm: Laura Lacy
3pm: Done at Five
4pm: The Meteorological Society
5pm: George Hakkila
6pm: Hanging Hills
7pm: Night of the Rabbit

If you are traveling to Willimantic just for Record Store Day, here is a not-at-all complete list of locally owned businesses that we frequent and/or heartily recommend (please pay them a visit if you can):
Cafemantic for strong coffee, a two minute walk from here.
Cityside Deli is run by friendly folks and right next door.
Hosmer Mountain Soda has been here since 1912.
Willimantic Food Coop is just a five minute walk.
Willimantic Brewing Company brews great beer and has excellent food.
Local Music is 10 seconds from here. They have guitars, amps, banjos, dulcimers and a lot more.
Rajean's Antiques is on the front side of the building we're located in. Lots of great stuff and all kinds of it.
Bagel One is a 5 minute drive. They call their everything bagels "Crazy Bagels." They are very good.
